The entire premium lineup is part of a fleet of 90 cars in 8 classes, so if necessary we also cover non-standard requests. If the desired model is not available on the requested dates, we select a replacement from a neighboring class and agree on it when booking. For trips of 7 or more days, the daily rate is reduced: a week is calculated as six days, a month as 21 days, and the exact terms are stated in the contract.

Premium daily rentals in our fleet cost from 12 000 to 33 000 ₽ — a spread of almost three times, and the price is determined by the class, power, and capacity of the car. Below is a full table for 11 models; a week is counted as six days, a month as 21.

If you rent a car for a week, the daily rate is cheaper: a week is six days, from 72 000 ₽ for a Hongqi H9 to 198 000 ₽ for a G-Class. Monthly rental is calculated as 21 days, so the daily rate is even lower — from 252 000 ₽ per month for the base model in the lineup. For long durations, it is better to budget for a month right away rather than extend daily.

The price within one class depends noticeably on the powertrain and trim. Flagship SUVs with engines from 381 hp and all-wheel drive — Lexus LX 600, Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz G-Class — cost from 22 000 to 33 000 ₽, and these are the most expensive items in the fleet. Executive sedans (BMW 7 Series, S-Class) stay in the range of 24 000–25 000 ₽, while the Hongqi H9 at 12 000 ₽ is the most affordable entry into the capital's premium segment, although in terms of status it is a full-fledged executive sedan.

In our opinion, when choosing between two cars of the same class, the decisive argument is not the difference of 2 000–3 000 ₽ per day, but the number of seats and the drive. Seven adults cannot fit in a BMW X5 — you need an X7, GLS, or Lexus LX 600. For business trips around the capital and negotiations, a sedan is more logical: an S-Class or BMW 7 Series leaves more space in the back row than any SUV at the same price. What documents are needed to rent premium cars in Moscow

To rent a premium car in Moscow, you will need a minimum of documents: a passport of a Russian citizen and a category B driving licence. At Rent-Trip, we check documents when handing over the car, so prepare them in advance—this takes a couple of minutes and does not delay the key handover.

Documents for citizens of Russia

• Passport: valid Russian passport — the main identity document when signing the contract.
• Driving licence: A category B licence held for at least the specified period — exact experience requirements are stated in the contract.

Documents for foreign citizens

For foreign guests of the capital, premium car rental terms include an extended package: a passport with a visa or residence permit, a migration card, and a national driving licence. If the licence was issued in a country not party to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (for example, China), a notarized translation or an International Driving Permit is required — this is a requirement of Article 25 of Federal Law No. 196-FZ. Where we deliver premium cars

• Airports: We work with all four — Sheremetyevo in the north, Domodedovo in the south, Vnukovo in the southwest, and Zhukovsky in the southeast; delivery is confirmed upon booking.
• Railway stations: We deliver to Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Kursky, Kievsky, Belorussky and Paveletsky — to any of Moscow's ten stations.
• Addresses: We deliver within the MKAD ring road and beyond — to Khamovniki, Presnensky, to Moscow City or to the region; details are agreed upon when ordering.

An airport pickup is scheduled according to the arrival time; waiting conditions are specified in the rental agreement. From Sheremetyevo (SVO), it is more convenient to travel via the M-11 or Leningradskoye Highway; from Domodedovo (DME) via Kashirskoye Highway or the M-4; from Vnukovo (VKO) via Kievskoye or Borovskoye Highway.

How the car handover works

We deliver the car clean, fueled, and with an OSAGO (compulsory third-party insurance) policy — it is mandatory for every registered vehicle by law. At handover, we show how the main systems work and record the condition of the body and interior in the acceptance report. For a client with a Russian passport and category B licence, the procedure takes about 15 minutes. A foreign guest will additionally need a migration card, visa or residence permit, and if the licence is from a country outside the Vienna Convention, a notarized translation or an International Driving Permit.

One nuance to keep in mind: fines from cameras come to the owner of the car, i.e. us, and we pass them on to the renter. On the MSD and TsKAD, the toll during peak hours is 19 ₽ per section, transit without exit is 950 ₽, so before a long trip, check whether the route is paid via a transponder or by licence plate within the road operator's deadline.

Country trips in a rented premium car — routes and toll roads

A premium sedan or SUV from our fleet is a working tool for trips beyond the capital: along the M-11 to Saint Petersburg, along the M-12 to Kazan, or along the Golden Ring. All routes are paved; driving off-road or on dirt roads is prohibited by the rental agreement, so there are no surface restrictions. Below is what to consider when planning so that the trip goes without surprises on toll sections.

Toll roads: MSD, TsKAD and highways

• MSD (Moscow High-Speed Diameter): 9 sections at 19 ₽ during peak hours (weekdays 7:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00), free outside peak and on weekends. Transit without exit — 950 ₽.
• TsKAD ring: 19 ₽ per section during peak, full circle — 171 ₽, free off-peak; transit — 950 ₽.
• M-11 Neva motorway: Toll road for the entire length to Saint Petersburg, ~700 km, about 7 hours.

Payment — by transponder or by state plate within the road operator's deadline. Fines from cameras go to the owner, i.e., the rental company, and are re-invoiced to the renter. In the Rent-Trip agreement, this condition is specified separately — clarify at booking how the re-invoicing is issued.

Where to go for the weekend

From the capital, in a premium car it makes sense to drive in three directions. Saint Petersburg via the M-11 is a classic for 2–3 days: 700 km each way, travel time about 7 hours. The Golden Ring—Sergiyev Posad (1 hour), Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Suzdal, Vladimir—is from 1 to 4 hours each way, convenient to split into two days with an overnight stay. Tula with Yasnaya Polyana is 2.5 hours via the M-2 or M-4. Kolomna via the M-5 is 2 hours.

Parking in the center and fines

In the center, paid parking is 380–800 ₽/hour from 8:00 to 21:00, at night 200 ₽/hour; the fine for non-payment is 5 000 ₽, towing — 8 500–12 450 ₽ plus storage. For premium cars with large dimensions (BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Lexus LX 600) in the narrow lanes of Patriarch's Ponds or Chistye Prudy, it is better to find parking in advance — our car delivery to an address in the city and region saves you from searching for a spot near the office, but then you park yourself. For suburban trips of 3–7 days, choose a car with extra trunk space — the suitable trim and luggage capacity are stated in the rental agreement.

Insurance and winter operation of a rented car

Each car from Rent-Trip's premium lineup is insured under OSAGO (compulsory third-party insurance) — this is a mandatory condition for registering a car in Russia. The terms of CASCO (comprehensive insurance), the deposit amount, and the reimbursement procedure are specified in the rental agreement, and we recommend reading this section before signing. Fines from cameras recorded during your trip are sent in the name of the owner — that is, us — and are reissued to the renter. Payment is made by the number of the violation notice; transfer details are specified in the contract.

Winter tires and seasonal preparation

From December to February, all fleet cars are fitted with winter tires—this is a technical regulation TR CU 018/2011 requirement applicable to all vehicles in Russia. We fit the entire fleet in advance, so you receive a car already prepared for snow and ice. In summer, from June to August, studded tires are prohibited by law, and in the warm season cars run on summer tires. In the off-season, in November and March, the choice depends on weather—if temperatures are consistently below zero, winter tires remain on the car.

How fines and toll roads work

• Cameras: decisions come to the owner, the procedure and timing for notifying the renter are specified in the rental agreement.
• Fine for unpaid parking: In the center of the capital, paid parking costs 380–800 ₽/hour from 8:00 to 21:00, and 200 ₽/hour at night; failure to pay risks a 5 000 ₽ fine and towing for 8 500–12 450 ₽ plus storage.

The electric motor delivers acceleration that stands out in city traffic, and the range allows you to travel around Moscow all day without recharging: Khamovniki, Patriki, Moscow City, VDNKh — a typical route fits within 40–60 km. In winter, consumption increases, so planning charging ahead is wise. If your route is limited to the city and you stay overnight where charging is available, the Zeekr 001 handles the task without a single trip to a gas station.

Petrol models: for countryside and long routes

For trips outside Moscow, a petrol engine remains a practical choice: refuelling takes five minutes, and the petrol station network is dense in any direction. On the M-11 to Saint Petersburg or the M-12 to Kazan, you are not dependent on the availability of fast charging stations—this removes the main risk of a long trip in an electric car. Petrol premium SUVs—BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Lexus LX 600—have a range of 600–800 km on a tank, which is enough for the Moscow–Yaroslavl leg and back. For one-day trips to Tula or Kolomna, a petrol model is also more convenient: a standard refuel before returning is enough.
