It is one of the 90 vehicles in our fleet, allocated to a separate category “Commercial.” The model has 3 seats, is equipped with a 2.0 L diesel engine producing 150 hp, a manual transmission, and front-wheel drive.

The commercial Jumpy van is a practical solution for transporting goods: specific cargo compartment parameters, permissible load, and trim features are stated in the rental agreement. Front-wheel drive and a 2.0 L diesel provide low-end torque, which is important when driving with a load.

Charges are calculated per day: a day — 5 500 ₽, a week — from 33 000 ₽, a month — from 115 500 ₽. Long-term rates are more profitable: when booking for a week or more, the daily rate is lower than the base rate, and the total amount is fixed in the contract. Car delivery is included in the conditions — we bring the van across the capital, to the Moscow region, to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky, and any of the ten railway stations.

In practice, the Jumpy is more often taken for moves between apartments within the MKAD ring road and the Third Ring Road, and for delivering building materials to a dacha in the Moscow region. The van is suitable for such tasks: diesel consumption in the combined cycle is lower than petrol analogues of the same class, and the mileage terms are specified in the rental contract. What documents are needed to rent a Citroën in Moscow

If the license was issued in a country that has not signed the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (for example, China), you can only drive with a notarized translation of the license or an International Driving Permit—this is a requirement of Article 25 of Federal Law No. 196.

Can I rent a Jumpy without a driver, and how does delivery work?

Yes, the Citroën Jumpy is rented without a driver — you drive the van yourself along your own routes. This is the format chosen for moves, furniture or building material delivery, when you need a commercial van with 3 seats, not a taxi or movers. In our classification, the Jumpy belongs to commercial transport, where this scheme is provided by default.

Delivery is organized so that you will not need a physical office. We bring the van to a convenient point: around the city, in the Moscow region, to any of the four airports — Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, or Zhukovsky — as well as to ten railway stations, including Leningradsky, Kazansky, and Kursky. This is convenient when you arrive in the capital and immediately pick up a car for a trip out of town, or vice versa — return the van before your flight. All meeting details are coordinated via MAX or by phone upon booking.

• Delivery to an address: We bring Jumpy to your home, office, or warehouse within Moscow and the region—exact terms are stated in the rental contract.
• Airport pickup: we coordinate with your flight so that the van is waiting in the parking lot by the time you arrive.
• Handover at the railway station: you leave the car at the desired railway station and leave by train — the address is agreed in advance.
• Processing on site: we sign the acceptance certificate, record the van's condition and readings — this takes about 15 minutes.

The technical condition of the van and its preparation for delivery are specified in the rental agreement. In winter months, seasonal tires are installed on the Jumpy, which is mandatory by law from December to February. • Fixation: cameras in Moscow automatically record speeding, driving in a dedicated lane, and other violations.

Toll roads: MSD, TsKAD, M-11 and M-12

The renter pays for travel on toll sections — this condition is specified in the contract. Within the capital this is the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) and the TsKAD in the region: 19 ₽ per section during rush hours (weekdays 7:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00), free outside peak hours and on weekends, transit without exit — 950 ₽. Suburban motorways M-11 Neva to Saint Petersburg and M-12 Vostok to Kazan are tolled along their entire length; a car for the full route Moscow — Kazan costs 5 909 ₽. The transponder gives a discount of up to 25%, but tariffs are regularly indexed — check current rates with the road operator.

Winter tires: a legal requirement

From December to February, winter tires are mandatory per technical regulation TR CU 018/2011—this also applies to rental cars. The entire Rent-Trip fleet, including the Citroën Jumpy, is seasonally fitted, so you'll receive the van with suitable tires. In summer, from June to August, studded tires are prohibited. In winter months, snow and slush are common in the capital, so allow more time for trips around the city and suburban roads—clean asphalt in December is rather an exception.

What is included in long-term rental

When renting a Citroën Jumpy for a week or a month, the same basic conditions apply as for daily rental: OSAGO covers liability to third parties as required by law, and CASCO terms and the amount of the security deposit are specified in the contract. In winter from December to February, the van will be on winter tires — we switch the entire fleet seasonally. Car delivery within the city, region, and to airports is agreed upon at booking.

Parking rates in central Moscow

• Daily rate: In the paid parking zone inside the Garden Ring — 380–800 ₽/hour from 8:00 to 21:00.
• Night tariff: from 21:00 to 8:00 — 200 ₽/hour, which is convenient for night moves and unloading.
• Fine for non-payment: 5 000 ₽ for unpaid parking — the amount is comparable to three hours of daytime parking.
• Towing: 8 500–12 450 ₽ for towing to an impound lot plus storage — the final amount depends on the time the car is there.

Fines from cameras and toll roads

Camera fines go to the vehicle owner, i.e., the rental company, after which they are reissued to the renter. This is standard practice in the capital's market: you drove the car, so you pay. Toll sections of MSD and TsKAD are 19 ₽ per section during peak hours (weekdays 7:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00), free off-peak and on weekends. Transit on MSD or TsKAD without exiting is 950 ₽. The M-11 Neva and M-12 Vostok motorways are tolled along their entire length; the renter pays the tolls—via transponder or by license plate within the road operator's deadline.

Insurance and winter tires

OSAGO (compulsory third-party insurance) is mandatory coverage that by law applies to every registered vehicle. CASCO (comprehensive insurance) terms, if taken out on the car, are specified in the rental agreement, which also outlines the procedure in the event of an accident. Winter tyres are mandatory from December to February under the technical regulations TR CU 018/2011, and our fleet is switched seasonally – we ensure this when preparing each car for delivery, including the Citroën Jumpy.
