Lexus ES — a business sedan for business trips

Lexus ES is a business-class sedan with a 2.5 L petrol engine producing 200 hp and front-wheel drive. The cabin has five seats, and the transmission is automatic. In Moscow, the ES is more manoeuvrable than a large SUV: it is easier to park on the Garden Ring and in the courtyards of Khamovniki or Patriki, and fuel consumption in city traffic jams is lower. We offer this model for meetings in Moscow City, negotiations in the centre, and trips to the region — the M-11 motorway to Sheremetyevo or the Novorizhskoye Highway is a familiar route for the ES.

Lexus LX 600 is a premium 7-seat SUV

LX 600 — a premium-class SUV with all-wheel drive, a 3.5-liter engine with 415 hp, and automatic transmission. The cabin has seven seats — three rows of seats. It behaves confidently on asphalt, all-wheel drive helps on snowy slush in winter, but driving off-road is not allowed under the rental agreement. The LX 600 is more often taken for family trips to the Moscow region, meeting guests at Vnukovo (VKO) or Domodedovo (DME) airports, and business events: it is spacious in the second row, and the trunk fits the luggage of the whole group.

Comparison of Lexus models in rental

Both cars are petrol with automatic transmission. If you are travelling alone or with a companion on business to the centre, take the ES: it is cheaper and easier to park. If you need extra seats or status at an event, take the LX 600. In both cases, we deliver the car at the required time: to Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO), or Zhukovsky (ZIA) airports, to any of the ten railway stations, or directly to an address in the capital and the region.

Daily rate from 8 500 ₽ for ES

Lexus ES is a sedan for business meetings and city trips: fuel consumption is lower than an SUV's, and parking on the Third Ring Road or in the lanes of Patriki is noticeably easier. The LX 600 is chosen when you need space for seven seats and all-wheel drive for trips to the Moscow region in the off-season. If you are undecided between the models, the conditions for trips in each of them are clarified when booking.

Week and month: why it is more profitable

Long-term rental of a Lexus in Moscow is calculated using a simple formula: a week is six days at the daily rate, a month is 21 days. An ES for a month comes to from 178 500 ₽, an LX 600 — from 462 000 ₽, which is 15–30% lower than paying daily without a break.

This approach is convenient when a car is needed for a project with trips to sites or during repairs of a personal car. When renting for a week or more, the service terms are specified in the rental agreement. Switching from ES to LX 600 mid-term is possible, the price difference is recalculated. In summer and before New Year holidays, long-term slots are booked within 3–5 days, so exact dates are better fixed in advance via MAX or by phone.

Documents, insurance, and deposit for renting a Lexus in Moscow

To rent a Lexus in Moscow, you need a minimum of documents, and all financial conditions — the deposit, the composition of CASCO (comprehensive insurance), the mileage limit — are fixed in the contract, which we prepare for each specific deal. For Russian citizens, a passport and a category B driving licence are enough; for foreign guests, the list is broader, taking into account migration status and the type of licence. Documents for Russian citizens

The term and type of car affect the set of documents: for the ES, a standard check is enough, for the LX 600 we request more data. All conditions are specified in the rental agreement that you sign upon receiving the keys.

Lexus rental for foreigners — license nuances

For foreign citizens, the list of documents differs: passport, migration card, visa or residence permit, as well as a national driving licence. If the licence was issued in a country not party to the Vienna Convention (for example, China), a notarized translation or an International Driving Permit is required — this is a requirement of Article 25 of Federal Law No. 196.

Age and experience requirements for international guests depend on the car class — exact terms are specified in the rental agreement. When confirming the booking, we immediately check the category and country of issue of the document — this saves time when delivering the car at the airport or hotel.

Insurance, deposit, and fines - what is in the contract

• OSAGO: Compulsory insurance covers every registered vehicle by law — it is included in the price.
• CASCO (comprehensive insurance): the terms of voluntary insurance are specified in the rental agreement; the scope of coverage is clarified when booking.
• Deposit: held on the primary driver's bank card; the amount and release period are specified in the contract.
• Camera fines: go to the vehicle owner, we reissue them to the renter after receiving the notice.

The deposit is the most common question when renting a Lexus in the capital: clients want to know the exact amount before signing the contract. For guests arriving in the capital, we deliver a car to any of the four airports. Sheremetyevo is in the north, about 30 km from the MKAD ring road — take the M-11 or Leningradskoye Shosse. Domodedovo is in the south, about 45 km, via Kashirskoye Shosse or the M-4. Vnukovo is in the southwest, 28 km via Kievskoye or Borovskoye Shosse. Zhukovsky is in the southeast, 40 km via Novoryazanskoye Shosse. We meet the client in the arrivals area, hand over the keys and documents — and the Lexus ES or LX 600 is ready to drive around the city.

Delivery in the centre and districts of the capital

If you live or are staying in the center — in Khamovniki, Patriki, near Chistye Prudy or the Third Ring Road — we will deliver the car to your entrance at the agreed time. We also work in residential areas: Mitino, Strogino, Krylatskoye, Yasenevo, Chertanovo, Rechnoy Vokzal. It is also convenient for guests arriving by train: delivery is possible to Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Kursky, Kievsky, Belorussky, and Paveletsky stations — there are ten in the capital in total.

• To the airport terminal: we deliver a Lexus for departure or arrival, and we'll coordinate the meeting time with your flight.

Lexus without a driver — free schedule

The most common format with our clients is to take a car without a driver and plan the route yourself. A Lexus ES with front-wheel drive and fuel consumption typical of a 2.5-liter engine is suitable for daily trips around Moscow: from Khamovniki to Moscow City, along the Third Ring Road or the MKAD ring road. The Lexus LX 600 with all-wheel drive and 415 hp feels more confident on suburban highways—for example, on the M-11 to Saint Petersburg. We deliver the car wherever is convenient for you: to your home in Krylatskoye, to your office on Leninsky Prospekt, or right to the Sheremetyevo terminal. You are left one-on-one with the car—no one restricts your schedule, but responsibility for the route, parking, and payment for toll sections lies with you.

OSAGO: included in every agreement by law. CASCO and deposit: the coverage composition and the amount of the security deposit are specified in the agreement. Camera fines: these come to the vehicle owner, and we pass them on to the renter.

Lexus LX 600 for an event: wedding, meeting guests

With a driver, a Lexus turns from a means of transportation into an element of the program. The 7-seat LX 600 is a practical option for a wedding: the newlyweds and a witness with a couple of guests fit comfortably in the car, while the driver handles the road and parking. Pickup at the registry office in the center, transfer of guests from Domodedovo (DME) to a restaurant on Yakimanka — typical scenarios. The format with a driver eliminates issues with paid parking in the center (380–800 ₽/hour from 8:00 to 21:00) and towing — the car does not remain unattended. The driver's working hours and hourly rate are clarified at booking; the route and number of hours are fixed in the contract. For business meetings, an ES with a driver is a way to hold negotiations in the car on the way from Vnukovo (VKO) to an office on Presnenskaya Embankment without being distracted by traffic.

Toll roads, parking and winter tires when renting a Lexus

We break down what costs beyond the rate await when renting a Lexus in the capital: toll sections, parking in the center, and winter tires. Most often, renters ask about the MSD (Moscow High-Speed Diameter) and the TsKAD ring — it's easy to enter them accidentally and get a reissued fine. Below are the tariffs and rules that apply to the renter.

Toll roads: MSD, TsKAD and regional routes

The renter pays for travel on toll sections — this is stated in the contract. Fines from cameras come to the owner of the car, i.e., the rental company, and are re-invoiced to the renter.

• MSD (Moscow High-Speed Diameter): 19 ₽ per section during rush hours on weekdays from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00; free off-peak and on weekends. Transit without exit — 950 ₽.
• TsKAD ring: 19 ₽ per section during peak, full circle — 171 ₽; free off-peak. Transit also 950 ₽.
• M-11 Neva motorway: Toll road for the entire length to Saint Petersburg; payment by transponder or by vehicle license plate.
• M-12 Vostok: a passenger car to Kazan — 5 909 ₽ for the entire route; a transponder gives a discount of up to 25%.

Parking in the center of Moscow

The paid zone operates within the Garden Ring and on the Third Ring Road. The rate is from 380 to 800 ₽/hour from 8:00 to 21:00, at night — 200 ₽/hour. The fine for non-payment is 5 000 ₽, evacuation will cost 8 500–12 450 ₽ plus storage at the impound lot. When renting an LX 600 SUV, consider the dimensions: the car is longer than 5 meters, so you need to look for a parking spot in the center in advance — on the Patriarch's Ponds and in Khamovniki, free spots rarely appear on weekdays.

Winter rental: tyres and specifics

From December to February, all Rent-Trip fleet cars are fitted with studded winter tires—this is a legal requirement (TR CU 018/2011). In summer, from June to August, studded tires are prohibited. If you take a Lexus in December–February, allow an extra 15–20 minutes for warm-up: the ES and LX 600 quickly reach operating temperature, but windows and mirrors take time. Winter trips outside the city are only on asphalt: driving onto dirt roads is prohibited by the contract, and the LX 600's all-wheel drive does not cancel this condition.

Countryside trips in a rented Lexus

Lexus in our fleet is two cars for different country trip scenarios: the ES for quick trips on the M-11 and M-4 motorways, and the LX 600 for family routes along the Golden Ring. Both models are petrol with automatic transmission; the front-wheel-drive ES is more economical at speed, while the all-wheel-drive LX 600 holds the road more confidently in rain and on wet asphalt. Weekly rental is calculated as 6 days × daily rate, monthly as 21 days × daily rate, so long-distance routes are more cost-effective to plan from seven days.

Saint Petersburg and the Golden Ring in a Lexus

• Saint Petersburg via the M-11 Neva motorway: about 700 km and approximately 7 hours on the road; the road is toll for the entire length, payment by the lessee.
• The Golden Ring: Sergiev Posad is 1 hour from the capital, then Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Suzdal and Vladimir — drives of 1–4 hours on asphalt.
• Tula and Yasnaya Polyana: about 2.5 hours along the M-2 or M-4 — a convenient route for a weekend in an ES.
• Kolomna: About 2 hours along the M-5; the LX 600 with 7 seats will work if you are going with two families.

We deliver the car to your starting point—your district or the airport, if the route begins with guests arriving. In the LX 600, it's comfortable to drive to Yaroslavl with four or five people and luggage: the spacious cabin eases fatigue on long stretches, and in the ES, the trip to Tula passes with minimal fuel consumption—the 2.5-liter engine runs efficiently on the highway.

Kazan via the M-12: trip budget

The route from the capital to Kazan via the toll M-12 Vostok motorway takes about 8 hours. For a first-class passenger car, the toll for the entire route is 5 909 ₽, and this amount is paid by the renter — via transponder or by plate number within the road operator's deadline. On an ES, a trip to Kazan and back will cost 11 818 ₽ for toll sections alone; on an LX 600, fuel consumption is higher, so for this route we usually recommend a sedan.

When planning a long trip, consider two points. Fines from photo enforcement cameras are sent to the car owner — our fleet — and we pass them on to the renter; on the M-12, cameras are installed on every toll section. The transponder gives a discount of up to 25% on M-11 and M-12 tolls, but its availability and mounting conditions are clarified at booking — the contract specifies how toll roads are paid for and who is responsible for unpaid passages.
