Insurance and technical condition

OSAGO is mandatory insurance that, by law, is issued for each vehicle in the fleet, including all six commercial vans. CASCO terms, if issued for a specific vehicle, are specified in the rental agreement — the deposit amount and mileage limit are also specified there. The technical condition of each vehicle is checked before delivery — the list of works is specified in the rental agreement. In winter, from December to February, vehicles are fitted with winter tires — this is a requirement of the technical regulations, and we comply with it for the entire fleet.

Fines and toll roads

Photo enforcement fines go to the car owner, i.e., the rental company—we reissue them to the renter by the order number. Toll sections—MSD, TsKAD, M-11 and M-12—are paid by the renter: via transponder or by plate number within the deadline set by the road operator. In Moscow, consider paid parking: in the center, inside the Garden Ring, an hour costs 380–800 ₽ from 8:00 to 21:00, cheaper at night—about 200 ₽. The fine for unpaid parking is 5 000 ₽; towing costs 8 500–12 450 ₽ plus storage at the impound lot. Before a long trip, also budget for fuel: we hand over vans with full tanks, and the car must be returned with the same level.

What is clarified when booking

Car delivery around Moscow, to airports and railway stations is part of the service, but the cost of delivery to remote areas of the region depends on mileage and is agreed upon when booking via MAX or by phone. Additional equipment — cargo straps, air mattresses — is also discussed in advance. Documents for renting a van in Moscow — for Russian citizens and foreigners

To rent a commercial van in Moscow, you need a minimum set of documents: a passport and a category B driving licence. For Russian citizens, this is enough — we check the documents when handing over the car and draw up the rental contract on the spot.

• Category B driving licence: confirms the right to drive a van weighing up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Bank card in the driver's name: Used to block the deposit amount, the size of which is specified in the contract.

• International passport: A document valid for the entire rental period.

Daily, weekly or monthly — rental formats without a driver

We rent out commercial vans without a driver in three formats: daily, weekly, and monthly. Rates are structured so that the longer the term, the lower the price per day: a week counts as six days, a month as 21 working days. For a one-time move, daily rental is more profitable; for regular trips, the weekly or monthly format is better.

Daily rental — for a one-off task

One-time move, delivery of oversized items, a trip to an out-of-town facility — typical scenarios for the daily format. You take a van in the morning and return it in the evening or the next day. In this case, the price matches the rate for the specific model: Lada Largus van — 3 000 ₽ per day, GAZ GAZelle Next — 4 800 ₽, GAZ GAZelle NN, Sollers Atlant, and Citroën Jumpy — 5 500 ₽ each, Ford Transit — 6 000 ₽. OSAGO (compulsory third-party insurance) is included in the price; CASCO (comprehensive insurance) terms are specified in the rental contract.

• Short route: moving furniture within the capital or to the nearby Moscow region fits within a day with time to spare.
• Flexible start: we deliver the car at the required time — to the entrance, to the warehouse, or to the office.

If the task takes more than one day, daily rental for several days still remains a working option—just sum up the rate for each day.

A week — for even loading

The weekly format suits you when you need a van daily or every other day: delivering orders, installation work, several moves in a row. The cost of a week is 18 000 ₽, i.e., six days at the price of seven. One day is effectively a bonus. Per day, this is more profitable than renting a car for seven days at the daily rate. Mileage and deposit conditions are confirmed at booking.

Month — for regular business tasks

Monthly rental is the most economical format for individual entrepreneurs, legal entities, and those who are handling a long-term task: construction, mobile trade, courier service for a while. The rate is from 63 000 ₽ per month, which is 21 days at the price of a calendar month with weekends. The car is assigned to you, delivery at the beginning of the term — within the city or to the airport. For organizations, it is possible to arrange for a legal entity with closing documents — details will be agreed upon when booking via MAX or by phone.

For regular routes in Moscow and the region, in our practice the monthly format pays for itself from the second week — the daily rate works out lower than daily one-off orders.

Moving or a business task — which van to choose for rent in Moscow

The choice among six vans in our fleet comes down to two scenarios: a one-time task like a move or a regular business need. For a move within the capital, cargo volume and low daily rate matter; for delivery and mobile trade, chassis resource and cost of ownership matter. Let's look at which model covers which task.

Moving and one-off transportation

• Lada Largus van: The most affordable option — 3 000 ₽/day, petrol, front-wheel drive. For a move or transporting large household appliances, this is an economical solution: the low daily rate is beneficial even for a two- or three-day rental.
• GAZ GAZelle Next: 4 800 ₽/day, diesel, rear-wheel drive, 149 hp. A workhorse for moving: the load capacity and van volume match the model's specifications, allowing you to transport furniture, household appliances, and boxes. Cargo dimensions to be confirmed at booking.
• Ford Transit: 6 000 ₽/day, the most spacious in the lineup. If you are transporting a lot of things or oversized items, take it to avoid a second trip.

Business tasks: delivery and mobile trade

For regular routes across the capital and region, we look at diesel rear-wheel-drive models — they are more durable over mileage and cheaper on fuel than petrol counterparts.

• GAZ GAZelle NN: 5 500 ₽/day, diesel, rear-wheel drive. A modern model with the same capacity as the GAZelle Next and built for daily shifts.
• Sollers Atlant: 5 500 ₽/day, diesel, rear-wheel drive, 150 hp. A versatile van for city deliveries — suitable for regular routes with frequent stops.
• Citroën Jumpy: 5 500 ₽/day, diesel, front-wheel drive. For mobile retail: the van's design simplifies loading and unloading goods in urban conditions.

For a week and a month, the daily price decreases: from 18 000 ₽ per week and from 63 000 ₽ per month. For regular deliveries in Moscow, take the GAZelle NN or Sollers Atlant — their rear-wheel drive holds a loaded body more confidently when starting from a traffic light, and diesel saves 15–20% fuel compared to a petrol Largus on the same route. If the business task is one-time — for example, a warehouse sale or seasonal delivery for two weeks — calculate the format: three days of Largus will cost 9 000 ₽ versus 16 500 ₽ for three days of GAZelle, and for light cargo, overpaying for volume is not justified.

Car delivery around Moscow, to airports and railway stations when renting

Delivery of a commercial van is part of the Rent-Trip service: we bring the vehicle to an address in the capital, across the region, to any of the four airports, or to the required railway station. We have no physical office, so you do not waste time travelling to a pickup point — we meet where it is convenient for you and hand over the keys against an acceptance certificate.

Pickup geography:

• Moscow: any address within the MKAD ring road, including the center — Khamovniki, Tverskoy, Presnensky, Tagansky, and other districts.
• Region: Khimki, Mytishchi, Balashikha, Lyubertsy, Krasnogorsk, Odintsovo — up to 30–40 km from the MKAD ring road.
• Airports: Sheremetyevo (~30 km via M-11 or Leningradskoe shosse), Domodedovo (~45 km via Kashirskoe shosse), Vnukovo (~28 km via Kievskoe shosse), Zhukovsky (~40 km via Novoryazanskoe shosse).
• Railway stations: Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Kursky, Kievsky, Belorussky, Paveletsky—we'll deliver to any of the ten.

The cost and delivery terms, including travel outside the Moscow region, are fixed in the rental agreement and clarified upon booking. Delivery itself is a standard part of the service, not a separate option that needs to be negotiated separately.

How the car handover works: you book a van through MAX or by phone, give the address and time — by that moment we bring the car, you check the condition of the body and interior, sign the contract, and take the keys. On site, we hand over the car documents, including OSAGO (compulsory third-party insurance), and remind you about the CASCO (comprehensive insurance) terms described in the agreement. If your flight is delayed or the airport meeting is rescheduled, let us know — we will adjust the delivery time to the new schedule.

Delivery to an airport or railway station is convenient when you need to meet a team or pick up equipment right after a flight or train arrival — the car awaits at an agreed point, and you do not waste time on a taxi to the pickup location. Trips beyond the MKAD ring road in a rented van — toll roads and winter conditions

When you need a van not only in the capital but for a trip to the region or another city, consider two factors: toll sections and seasonal tires. We explain how this works in practice and what to factor into your route.

Toll roads: MSD, TsKAD, M-11 and M-12

• MSD (Moscow High-Speed Diameter): 9 paid sections, travel on each — 19 ₽ during peak hours (weekdays 7:00–11:00 and 16:00–20:00), free outside peak and on weekends; transit without exit — 950 ₽.
• TsKAD ring: 19 ₽ per section during peak, full circle — 171 ₽, free off-peak; transit — 950 ₽.
• M-11 Neva motorway: Moscow — Saint Petersburg, toll road for its entire length, about 700 km and around 7 hours of travel.
• M-12 Vostok: to Kazan, for a passenger car (class 1), the entire route is 5 909 ₽, about 8 hours on the way.

The transponder gives a discount of up to 25%; tariffs have increased by 8–10% this year. Payment is by transponder or by state registration number within the road operator's deadline; fines from cameras come to the owner and are re-invoiced to the renter. Winter conditions: tyres and driving specifics

From December to February, snow and slush are normal in Moscow and the region. By law (TR CU 018/2011), winter tires are mandatory during this period, and Rent-Trip seasonally fits the entire fleet. Studded tires are prohibited in summer (June–August)—this is also a requirement of the technical regulation.

The landscape around the capital is a plain: forests and fields, no mountains or serpentines, so there will be no difficult terrain on the route. But on the M-11 and M-12 during a snowfall, keep your distance: a van with cargo brakes differently than a passenger car. If you're driving to Saint Petersburg or Kazan in winter, add 1–2 hours to the estimated time—road clearing doesn't always keep up with precipitation.

Pay attention to the fuel level: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full — this condition is specified in the agreement.

How the return process works

The car can be returned at a convenient point in the capital or region — we will pick it up ourselves after the rental period ends. If any camera fines come in during the trip, they are reissued to the renter after verification: as the owner, we receive the citations and forward them to you. For long-term rentals of a week or a month, reduced rates apply — the daily rate is cheaper than the base tariff; we'll send a detailed calculation in the booking confirmation.
